Took out my Rifter through Placid on a patrol to find a particularly poorly-organized mining operation. Destroyer, frigate, and an Iteron (though the latter got away). Turned out that Catalyst acted like nothing happened — kept mining while I shot it, and the pod just sat there. His Imicus buddy showed back up, I guess figuring I would leave immediately. He managed to get his pod out, though.

Then I figured I’d go find the party in Syndicate and made my way out to some back-ass system, where I ran into a T3 buzzsaw. Damn shame, since I hear you can find about anything out in Syndicate. Still want to get back out there.

I really should know better.

After grumbling quietly for a second, he leans forward and cuts the camera off.

Well. This is more like it. Boss has us out in Fed space on business. Haven’t had any actual customers yet, though we tried for a Manticore that got away. I’ve mostly just settled into the place after the long flight out here. Got me a couple of frigates in the hangar. I really should bring a few more out here, but hell, that’s boring.

Ah, well, the nightlife here beats what we had in Amarr by a long shot. I spent the night before in Penirgman on business, which didn’t work out well. Not only did I have trouble finding any useful salvage, they just don’t quite have a good time like I like. But I found a couple of Seb girls out here… let’s say they know what’s up.

Anyway, I think we may have gotten into something good out here. Let’s see.

Giggles can be heard from off-camera. He winks and turns off the feed.

The video feed blinks on and a grizzled Civire man sits down in front of it. He holds a drink in one hand and occasionally runs his other hand back through his close-cropped hair.

So I’ve got most of my gear set up in Domain now. Not a real pleasant place out here: damn Amarrians will drive a man to drink. Or drink more, in my case. They like to pretend to be all holy and “chosen”, and usually that’s a pain in my ass, but at least out in lowsec you can find girls who don’t quite hold to whatever their priests tell them, thank God… or not, I suppose.

Anyway, I’ve spent some time  getting set up with Anshar. Hasn’t gone as quickly as I’d like, but that’s more on my end than theirs. Boss seems nice enough, but I’ve gotta keep my eyes open. As long as he’s flown with the Cartel and all, I know there’s more to him than he likes to let on. Works for me, I suppose, and he flew a mean Cyclone when we hit those Sansha the other day.

Guess I’ll head back down to the lower deck, see what I can scare up…

He grins with the right side of his mouth and winks before reaching forward and fiddling with something. The video feed abruptly cuts out.
